Your pet is important to us at Houston's Fuzzy Tails Grooming Salon. Because we care about your pet's safety and wellbeing, we want to assure you that every effort will be made to make your pet's visit as pleasant as possible. Safety comes first for everyone during the grooming process, people as well as pets. You agree that you have truthfully informed Houston's Fuzzy Tails Grooming Salon if your pet has ever bitten another animal or a human, or if they have any other aggressive tendencies. You agree and understand that you will be held solely responsible for any injury, harm or damage to property caused by your pet. The grooming process might be stopped if we feel your pet's behavior is compromising their safety or ours. We will charge for the amount of the groom that has been accomplished or $35, whichever is greater.
When arriving to our location via front door or drive-thru slide door, you assume responsibility of keeping your pet leashed at time of entry. Houston's Fuzzy Tails Grooming Salon will not be held responsible for pet collars/leashes not securely fastened that could result on your pet running towards the parking lot or onto the adjacent avenue.
At Houston's Fuzzy Tails Grooming Salon we strive to keep a sanitary environment for all our fuzzy friends. In the event your pet has fleas or ticks, there will be a $15 fee applied to your bill for flea and tick treatment on your pet, removal and grooming area clean up, to avoid a potential spread to other pets.
Houston's Fuzzy Tails Grooming Salon requires rabies and bordetella vaccinations to be up to date on all pets and reserves the right to refuse to groom a pet in an unsatisfactory state, including, but not limited to, expired vaccinations, behavioral issues, fleas, ticks, other parasites or kennel cough.
Houston's Fuzzy Tails Grooming Salon operates a strict policy on missed appointments and you agree to that if you need to change an appointment you will notify Houston's Fuzzy Tails Grooming Salon no less than 48 hours before the booked appointment. If insufficient notice is given, you agree to pay $35 prior to your next appointment. If appointments are missed on a regular basis, pre-payment will be required.
At time of payment, we accept credit/debit cards and cash. Sorry, no checks. Payment is due at time of service. If payment is not received by the end of day of services provided, a fee of $10 pet pet will be added to the total invoice.
If you can't pick up your pet when notified that grooming has been completed, they will be placed in a cage in order for us to continue grooming other clients, but taken out for potty breaks every 45 minutes. If you cannot pick up your pet by our closing time, you will be charged $5 for every 10 minutes past our closing time. You must arrange to have your pet picked up the same day it was groomed because Houston's Fuzzy Tails Grooming Salon is not allowed to board live animals overnight at it's facility.

Please be on time for your scheduled appointment. If you believe you will be more than 15 minutes past your scheduled time, call us so we can arrange the following appointments times.
We will be contacting you via text or call as soon as your pet is done. We will appreciate your response with an estimated time of pick up arrival in order for us to manage any potty breaks or cage time appropriately.
We encourage good communication when it comes to your schedule in order to avoid cancelled appointments and additional charges.
